Following last year's successful Globo Verde Dominicano competition held as part of the Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival, the GFDD and FUNGLODE are launching the second edition of the Short Film and Public Service Announcement Competition.

Registration is open for the Second Short Films Competition and public announcement contest on the environment and sustainable development, sponsored by DREFF. The competition is open to Dominican directors in the Dominican Republic. Registration is open from 01/30/2013 to 07/12/2013.
The shipment of the material will be accepted until July 15, 2013. The Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival reserves the right to change the duration of the competition as well as the date of the final selection.
The films must be produced in the Dominican Republic in order to compete.
Participants must be over 18 and under 45 years old.
Seventy percent of the actors in the film must be Dominican.
ATTENTION!
As requested by participants, the organizing team of the Globo Verde Dominicano Short Film and Public Service Announcement competition has decided to broaden the age range for participants in the contest. Starting on May 15, 2013, the age limit for participants is 45. We continue to encourage all participants to compete and to submit their entries before the July 12th registration deadline.
